Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs)
ULI Central Florida will hold a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) on September 25-26, 2019 at the UCF Downtown Executive Development Center. Members of the public and community leaders are welcome to attend any portion of the TAP during those two days, but are highly encouraged to attend the concluding Preliminary Recommendations Presentation.
Please find the TAP Agenda linked here.
TAPs are part of the ULI Advisory Services program. TAPs were designed to be run and implemented by District Councils, the local chapters of ULI. Panelists for these one- to two-day work sessions are selected from the ULI’s membership to address land use challenges that require local knowledge to resolve. Typically there is a stakeholder sponsor, in this case, the District Council is sponsoring the TAP to benefit the Central Florida community. An objective team of seasoned professionals forms the panel, and its recommendations often build upon the community’s existing accomplishments.

Please join the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Central Florida, as it concludes its two day Technical Assistance Panel on Central Florida Attainable Housing with a presentation of Preliminary Recommendations at 11:00am on September 26, 2019 at the UCF Downtown Executive Development Center.
Recognizing that our rapidly urbanizing region is facing some real issues regarding keeping housing affordable for all of its citizens, a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) has been organized to provide recommendations to the Central Florida region , including the Orange County Mayor’s Housing For All Task Force.
During the ULI TAP, 3 design teams will propose affordable housing products for 3 different sites in Central Florida allowed by the existing land development regulations and reflecting current housing market demand. To get involved, please e-mail ULI Central Florida.
The Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) committee assists public agencies and non-profit organizations by bringing real estate, planning and technical experts together to provide unbiased, pragmatic advice for addressing complex land use and development issues. The TAPs committee does not currently meet on a regular basis. If you are interested in sponsoring a TAP for your company, participating on the TAPs committee or serving on a future panel, please contact
