    Join us on May 9 for a deep-dive discussion that localizes the national trends in land development that will be featured in ULI’s national Real Estate Economic Forecast report, which will be released the first week of May. The report covers the latest findings that include both near-term and longer-term projections for 27 key economic and real estate indicators, ranging from GDP and employment figures to commercial real estate transactions and property sector performance.

    The discussion will be led by Gregg Logan, managing director of real estate consulting firm RCLCO, and feature a panel of prominent local land owners and developers for immediate reaction and commentary. The reaction panel includes: Rob Adams, Tavistock; Kaycee Gardner, Chesterfield, LLC; and Dan Green, Wheelock Street Capital, LLC.

    Speakers

    Dan Green

    Principal, Wheelock Street Capital, LLC

    Since 2008, Dan Green has been responsible for Wheelock’s residential land and home building investments. He has helped build a portfolio encompassing more than 24,000 residential lots in a dozen communities coast to coast and a regional homebuilder. Dan has more than 30 years of national experience with land acquisitions, financing, entitlement, development and sales. Prior to joining Wheelock, Dan was regional VP of land acquisition for KB Home, with oversight of land operations for the eastern United States. He previously spent 18 years in management roles with Richland Properties, an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm. His responsibilities during his tenure included acquisitions, financing and disposition of assets. He also assisted in the formation and operation of Richland’s broadcast tower business. Dan earned a B.A. from Cedarville University in Ohio and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University. He began his career in auditing with Ernst & Young and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    Gregg T. Logan Managing Director RCLCO (Robert Charles Lesser & Co.) Gregg has over 30 years real estate development and consulting experience. He has managed market and economic research and analysis engagements throughout the US and abroad. He is a trusted advisor to developers, investors, land owners, cities, counties, foundations and religious institutions, providing market and financial feasibility, strategic planning, economic development, and large scale envisioning services. He is a contributing author of several ULI books, including Transforming Suburban Business Districts, Developing Active Adult Retirement Communities, and Housing for Niche Markets. He has Chaired ULI's Atlanta District Council, Central Florida District Council, and Senior Housing Council. He participated as a market specialist to help create ULI's Ten Principles for Developing Successful Town Centers.
