Throughout Florida’s recent growth the real estate sector has endured many disruptions to the development process including climbing interest rates, rise of labor and material costs, and debt and equity scarcity. Now many developers have seen a spike in their builders insurance which in some cases can be up to 3x the cost of recent years.

This panel of commercial insurance and multifamily development experts will discuss how the insurance marketplace in Florida got to this point and when any potential relief or stabilization is going to occur. They will also offer many creative solutions to help minimize the impact of this rising cost which could ultimately determine a projects viability.
