Technical Assistance Panels

Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) provide expert and objective strategic advice to sponsoring organizations on complex land use and development issues. TAPs link public agencies and nonprofit organizations with seasoned real estate, planning, financing, marketing and technical experts through ULI district councils. TAPs are part of ULI’s Advisory Services program which has assisted over 500 communities worldwide since 1947.

Technical Assistance Panels

Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) are part of the ULI Advisory Services program and are specifically designed to be run by the local district councils. Established in 1947, this fee-based program has completed over 500 panels, in 47 states, 12 countries, and 4 continents. Sponsors praise panels for their comprehensive, pragmatic approach to solving land use challenges.

ULI-Central Florida completed its first TAP in December 2008 with the Osceola and Orange County Mixed Use Town Centers.  Since then, the District Council has provided this service to many clients including Orange County, the City of Winter Park, the City of Edgewood and Osceola County.
