On January 30, 2015, ULI Central Florida held its annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate conference. At the half-day event, guest speakers and panelists shared their 2015 forecasts and projects with over 200 registrants from industries including real estate, development, urban planning, and architecture. With a recovering economy and positive job growth particularly in Orlando, the general outlook for 2015 was positive, albeit cautious. Event Recap: 2014 Emerging Trends

On January 31, 2014, over 200 Central Florida developers, urban planners, land use lawyers, and builders convened at the Country Club of Orlando for the 2014 Emerging Trends in Real Estate Conference. ULI Florida Receives $25,000 Grant

The Urban Land Institute announces that Florida’s five ULI District Councils have been awarded a $25,000 grant to plan and execute their newest initiative Building Healthy Places.   The goal of the statewide initiative is to encourage the Florida real estate industry, business, and civic and community leaders to update policy and design standards to include those that promote public health. Mayor Glenda Hood Receives Award at the 2013 ULI Fall Meeting

The Urban Land Institute recently recognized Former Mayor of Orlando Glenda Hood as the 2013 recipient of the Robert M. O’Donnell Award.
