ULI Florida Receives $25,000 Grant

The Urban Land Institute announces that Florida’s five ULI District Councils have been awarded a $25,000 grant to plan and execute their newest initiative Building Healthy Places.   The goal of the statewide initiative is to encourage the Florida real estate industry, business, and civic and community leaders to update policy and design standards to include those that promote public health. Mayor Glenda Hood Receives Award at the 2013 ULI Fall Meeting

The Urban Land Institute recently recognized Former Mayor of Orlando Glenda Hood as the 2013 recipient of the Robert M. O’Donnell Award. The award acknowledges Mayor Hood’s leadership and work on challenging land use issues across the country with ULI’s Advisory Services Program.   The Robert M.
